العقل الحر

أنا أؤمن بأن العقل الحرّ والمستكشف للإنسان هو أثمن شيء في العالم. وهذا ما سأناضل من أجله: حرية العقل في اتخاذ أي اتجاه يشاء، دون توجيه. وهذا ما يجب أن أحارب من أجله أي فكرة أو دين أو حكومة تُقيّد الفرد أو تُدمّره. جون شتاينبك، كاتب أمريكي حائز على جائزة نوبل (27 فبراير 1902-20  ديسمبر 1968)
